Cities to live in

The eighth edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the main international event on smart cities, will have the theme Cities To Live In. The idea is to underline what ought to be the ultimate and common goal of all smart cities: to become more livable places for their citizens. Organized by Fira de Barcelona from November 13 to 15 at the Gran Via venue, it will be the largest edition to date with 840 exhibiting companies, 700 cities present and a 31% growth in the exhibition space, spreading over two halls for the first time. We have spoken with its director, Ugo Valenti, who explain the keys and new activities of this eighth edition of the event.
